Kolkata Calling

Masala Movement had the honour of presenting a musical special at the renowned Museum Ludwig.

In the photography room, the museum were showing twelve photographs by Raghubir Singh (1942 Jaipur–1999 New York).

Inspired by the photographer’s atmospheric works and places of creation, me, Keshavara and Vineetha took the audience on a musical journey through time between Kolkata, London and New York.

Listen to my set during the first hour of this lovely evening …

Thanks to Sonja Hempel from the museum for taking great care of us, Prasanna Oommen for recommending us and to Varun Desai for the musical guidance.
