InderKinder Talk

At the end of the 1990s, the children of Indian / South Asian migrants in Germany began to network. Among other things, they organised parties, seminars and created internet projects.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of, me and three other panelists talked about what happened then, what triggered it, whether we are still shaped by it today and how a creative scene has developed.

It was really nice to see many familiar faces among the audience (over 50 in total) and that there is a need to speak more apparently.

Panelists: Prof. Dr. Urmila Goel (Humboldt University Berlin), Dr. Bijon Chatterjee (, Dr. Latha Mani (Sandhikta), Manoj Kurian Kallupurackal (Masala Movement), Moderation: Nisa Punnamparambil
