Curated Design From The Arab World

What happens when centuries of craft meet a new wave of creative thinking? When tradition is not preserved in amber, but translated into form, function and storytelling for a global audience?

Morning Land is a project that explores exactly that.

The idea was initiated by my colleague Kalbiye Nur Yegnidemir – a curated premium online platform and the vision of an international design fair dedicated to contemporary design from the Arab world. At its heart is a powerful concept: giving visibility and value to creatives who connect cultural heritage with modern design sensibilities.

I had the chance to support the early phase with some strategic and visual thinking. For now, the project remains in development, and I’m genuinely curious to see when and how Kalbiyenur will take it forward.

Whatever form it takes, Morning Land holds the promise of becoming a rare and meaningful space – one that shifts perspectives and opens up new conversations around design from a region too often overlooked.
